Overview
This confidential search seeks an accomplished Chief Executive Officer to lead a metals manufacturing company generating around $200 million in annual revenue. The organization operates across multiple production facilities serving industrial clients that demand high-specification products. With ongoing investments and a focus on driving value, the Board and investors aim to appoint a seasoned CEO with significant operational expertise to spearhead enhanced performance, growth, and EBITDA expansion. Detailed information will be disclosed only after a Non-Disclosure Agreement is signed due to the sensitive nature of this assignment.
Opportunity
This role requires a hands-on CEO with a strong emphasis on operations who will assume full responsibility for overall company performance. The leader will collaborate closely with private equity investors and the executive team to implement transformational changes that boost efficiency, profitability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Take complete profit and loss accountability for a metals manufacturing group with multiple sites.
- Enhance operational effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity throughout all locations.
- Drive consistent EBITDA growth by optimizing costs, improving yields, and streamlining processes.
- Lead comprehensive transformation programs in manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
- Establish and reinforce operational discipline, key performance indicators, and performance management systems.
- Improve throughput, capacity utilization, and service quality to support revenue expansion.
- Develop and lead a senior leadership team covering operations, commercial, and other key functional areas.
- Work closely with private equity stakeholders on strategic planning, reporting, and value creation initiatives.
- Create and sustain a culture of high performance and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced CEO, COO, or senior operations executive with proven leadership credentials.
- Extensive background in heavy metals manufacturing industries.
- Documented success in driving EBITDA enhancement and operational transformation.
- Skilled in managing complex, multi-site manufacturing operations.
- Track record of executing initiatives that improve efficiency, productivity, and margins.
- Proficient in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement (CI), and operational excellence principles.
- Commercially savvy, especially with value creation in private equity–backed companies.
- Prior experience collaborating with private equity investors is highly preferred.
- Hands-on managerial approach capable of balancing strategic vision with operational execution.
