About HODLife
HODLife is an insurer built for the modern era, bringing together digital assets and established life and savings protection products. The company helps individuals and families protect and grow wealth across both conventional and digital assets. Its approach blends advanced technology, proven insurance risk management, and a regulated operating model to offer a thoughtful way to safeguard long-term wealth.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Distribution Officer will shape HODLife’s regional and Middle East intermediary distribution strategy. This position focuses on creating and expanding a strong network of brokers, wealth intermediaries, and strategic partners who can distribute offshore insurance solutions to international clients.
The role will be responsible for setting up broker partnerships, designing commercial structures that can scale, and building the operating foundation needed for sustained distribution growth. With significant visibility at the executive level and a high degree of autonomy, this is an opportunity to influence market positioning, develop strategic relationships, and create a durable revenue engine for the business.
Key Responsibilities
Distribution Strategy and Broker Network Growth
- Create and implement a global strategy for brokers and intermediary-led distribution.
- Find, onboard, and activate brokers, wealth advisors, family office intermediaries, and referral partners.
- Broaden HODLife’s reach across both traditional financial intermediaries and newer digital-asset wealth channels.
- Develop a scalable broker ecosystem with structured onboarding, activation, and performance processes.
Commercial Partnerships
- Design partnership structures with distributors, including referral arrangements, commission plans, and revenue-sharing models.
- Build long-term strategic relationships with broker networks, wealth platforms, and offshore advisory firms.
- Set performance indicators and incentive systems that encourage partner productivity and growth.
Licensing and Regulatory Coordination
- Manage broker onboarding in line with relevant regulatory and licensing obligations.
- Partner closely with legal and compliance teams to make sure distribution frameworks satisfy jurisdiction-specific regulatory standards.
- Ensure proper oversight of intermediary behavior and compliance responsibilities.
Product Positioning and Market Development
- Work alongside product and executive leaders to position HODLife’s insurance offerings effectively in the global wealth market.
- Strengthen market credibility for the company’s insurance platform among brokers, wealth advisors, and institutional intermediaries.
- Support the creation of additional revenue opportunities tied to offshore wealth planning and digital-asset protection.
Experience and Expertise
- At least 10 years of experience in financial services, insurance, private wealth, or securities distribution platforms.
- A demonstrated history of building and scaling partner-led or intermediary distribution businesses.
- Strong understanding of broker compensation structures, referral arrangements, and commercial partnership models.
- Practical knowledge of regulatory issues connected to insurance distribution or offshore financial products.
- Experience working with wealth intermediaries, broker networks, or international advisory platforms.
- Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to build new initiatives from the ground up.
Leadership Attributes
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial judgment.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with credibility across broker and wealth advisory networks.
- Hands-on operator who can build distribution infrastructure in a growing company.
- Clear communicator who can align partners, executives, and internal teams.
- Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work effectively in uncertain startup conditions.
