About the Role
Join the team at Jugendherberge Burg Bilstein, a historic hostel featuring 204 beds and welcoming approximately 23,000 overnight guests annually. The team of 22 is dedicated to providing exceptional service for families with children, school classes, music groups, and holiday participants. The property offers a unique setting within a medieval castle and plenty of sports and excursion activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh meals for a diverse range of guest groups.
- Take into account allergens and specific dietary needs of guests.
- Work independently in compliance with HACCP guidelines.
- Follow established recipes and maintain quality standards.
- Contribute actively to evolving and enhancing the meal offerings.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
- Completed training as a cook or equivalent professional experience.
- Enjoy teamwork and strive to ensure guests have satisfying experiences.
- Show responsibility and work in an organized manner.
- Have thorough knowledge and application of hygiene rules and allergen handling.
- Be motivated to work in a meaningful and dynamic environment.
