ShipLinker is seeking an energetic Business Development and Sales professional to promote and expand usage of its AI-driven chartering platform within the global maritime shipping community. The successful candidate will manage the entire commercial process, initiating contact with shipowners, charterers, and brokers; converting them to subscribers; and cultivating lasting relationships that encourage repeat engagement and advocacy.

Role Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain reliable partnerships with shipowners, charterers, and brokerage firms within your network.
• Encourage the adoption of ShipLinker's AI-powered chartering platform and subscription offerings by conducting focused outreach, demos, and consultative sales approaches.
• Represent ShipLinker at industry gatherings, conferences, and client events to enhance brand visibility and develop a robust sales pipeline.
• Collect and relay market insights and customer feedback to help guide product innovation and positioning.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses an existing network among shipowners, charterers, or shipping agents—considered a strong advantage.
• Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit with a keen interest in shipping technology and innovation.
• Exhibits excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Has working knowledge of maritime chartering norms and documentation such as fixture notes, recaps, and charter parties.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable operating autonomously under a commission-based compensation structure.
