About the Role

Become part of a dedicated volunteer team supporting health and well-being projects in the local community. The funds raised from the Charity Shop directly benefit community initiatives. You will collaborate with volunteers across two Charity Shops located in Havelock, managing a variety of secondhand and new items for sale.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include sorting incoming donations, assigning appropriate prices, and engaging customers during sales. Comprehensive training is provided to cover all facets of this position.

Working Hours and Flexibility

The role offers flexibility with shifts split between mornings and afternoons throughout the week. A half-day shift runs from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, while a full-day commitment spans 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Additionally, an extra 30 minutes before and after shifts are allocated for setup and closing activities. Accommodations include a stool for seated work behind the counter and scheduled breaks to ensure comfort.
