Join Charity Link to support impactful causes such as Blue Cross, a well-respected UK charity dedicated since 1897 to improving the lives of sick, injured, and homeless pets, and assisting their caregivers through services like veterinary care, pet rehoming, and bereavement support across the nation.
Your main goal will be to encourage the public to support these charities through regular monthly donations.
Role Responsibilities
Working at scheduled venues such as supermarkets, shopping centers, and events, you will connect with the public, foster meaningful conversations, and sign up supporters for ongoing donations. The position focuses on genuine, face-to-face interaction, and is available on a full-time or part-time basis.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A positive outlook along with excellent communication abilities
- Confidence in initiating conversations and quickly establishing rapport with strangers
- Genuine passion for animal welfare
- Dependability, resilience, and a strong drive to meet targets
- Past experience in fundraising or sales is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training is provided
