About the role
A global consulting firm serving the financial services sector is hiring a Change Project Manager for its Operations function. This team is central to delivering major transformation work across the business, collaborating with senior leaders on initiatives such as acquisitions, technology rollouts, process and operational enhancements, and wider enterprise change programs. The role blends project delivery, change management, and business analysis to help the organisation grow, run more efficiently, and progress toward its long-term strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of a variety of transformation assignments, including operational change, business change, technology deployment, and acquisition integration efforts.
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules, key milestones, deliverables, and governance documentation to keep work on track.
- Work closely with senior business and operations stakeholders to evaluate, implement, and embed change across the organisation.
- Spot project risks, obstacles, and delivery issues early, then put mitigation actions in place while maintaining strong stakeholder buy-in.
- Track progress against objectives, review results, and contribute to ongoing improvement by capturing lessons learned and sharing effective practices.
Requirements
- Regular experience working directly with C-suite leaders and other senior stakeholders is essential.
- End-to-end project management experience is required.
- At least 7 years of experience in change management, consulting, transformation, or project management, with a strong focus on operational change.
- Background in leading operational change programs such as acquisition integration, IT implementation, business change, and operational implementation in a project or program management capacity.
- Solid knowledge of change management frameworks and how to apply them in practice.
- Ability to build relationships across all levels, think strategically over the long term, create new approaches, and identify growth opportunities for the business.
