Job description
Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide professional care to our clients at their residences. The caregiver will follow client-specific care plans with respect and dignity, adhering to agency policies and healthcare standards.
Job Duties
- Offer companionship through social engagement, emotional support, and mentally stimulating activities.
- Assist with essential errands and shopping tasks.
- Provide transportation or escort to medical and other appointments as required.
- Observe and report any changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
- Help with mobility and ambulation within and outside the home, including visits to doctor appointments and walks.
- Support personal care and hygiene routines for clients.
- Execute the care plan as directed.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, observations, and hours of service provided.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or home management is essential.
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or other related credentials.
- Valid Driver's License or State ID card, or reliable transportation is required.
- Authorization to work in the United States via Social Security card, birth certificate, or work permit.
- Ability to clear a Level II background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- Auto insurance coverage.
- Recent TB test results (PPD or Chest X-ray).
- A sincere commitment to providing care and assistance to clients.
- Professional demeanor and friendly attitude.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including potential night shifts.
