Overview
Supermac's at Castlebar Road is currently hiring catering assistants to join their team in Westport, County Mayo. Candidates with prior work experience who are dependable, mature, and possess excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply. Availability to work any day from Monday through Sunday is essential.
Role Purpose
The Catering Assistant supports the Management Team in ensuring every customer enjoys top-quality food, excellent service, and a clean environment during their visit to Supermac's restaurants. The role requires friendly and efficient interaction with customers, colleagues, and management. Adherence to training protocols and the standards outlined in the Employee Handbook is mandatory. The primary objective is to serve customers their ordered food promptly and accurately with a warm attitude.
Key Duties
- Operate within designated areas following company standards focusing on safety and quality to maintain consistent service.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, showing respect to staff and management.
- Comply with company procedures relating to food preparation, production, and storage.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor both on-site and off-site.
- Provide friendly and welcoming customer service on every visit.
- Partner with management to boost customer numbers and daily sales.
- Handle cash following correct procedures as instructed by management.
- Ensure personal appearance and uniform meet company guidelines.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work across all restaurant areas per managerial directions.
- Consistently prioritize customer satisfaction throughout all shifts.
Work Environment
Expect a fast-paced and demanding setting due to business volume and staffing considerations. Physical endurance is sometimes necessary. Effective teamwork and clear communication are crucial to maintaining smooth operational flow across all departments.
