Job description

Role Overview

We are hiring a proactive Catalog Trainer to strengthen training quality and bring greater consistency to regional catalog operations. This position focuses on creating effective learning materials, keeping process documentation current, spotting gaps in workflows, and helping internal and outsourced teams work in the same standardized way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and manage training content, reference guides, SOPs, and knowledge assets for catalog operations.
  • Deliver onboarding and refresher sessions for regional teams, new joiners, and external partners.
  • Run SOP alignment sessions to build common understanding and ensure the same execution standards across markets.
  • Review processes and SOPs to find gaps, propose practical improvements, and support implementation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Track training impact using assessments, quality results, productivity indicators, and other operational KPIs.
  • Keep SOP compliance under review and work closely with Quality and Operations teams to improve performance continuously.
  • Study repeated errors and performance patterns to determine training requirements and corrective actions.
  • Serve as the main contact for process changes, making sure updates are communicated quickly and adopted across teams.
  • Support change initiatives by building training plans for new tools, revised processes, and operational transitions.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to standardize catalog processes and improve overall content quality.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Operations, Linguistics, or a similar discipline.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in Training, Learning & Development, Quality Assurance, Content Operations, Catalog Management, or a comparable area.
  • Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Arabic are required.
  • Hands-on experience creating training materials, SOPs, and process documentation.
  • Prior exposure to regional teams and outsourced operations is a strong advantage.
  • Background in e-commerce, marketplace, retail, or catalog operations is preferred.
  • Solid coaching, training delivery, and facilitation capabilities.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Good grasp of process documentation, SOP governance, and operational excellence practices.
  • Analytical ability to turn data and trends into useful training actions.
  • Effective stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
