Role Overview
We are seeking a Casual Programme Assistant to create memorable experiences for children during afternoons and potentially school holiday sessions. This role focuses on supporting and supervising children in fun and safe environments, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting Programme Managers to facilitate energetic sessions. The position offers flexible, on-demand scheduling as a reliever mainly in the 2:30pm to 6:00pm timeframe, with occasional school holiday hours between 7am and 6pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and aiding children in enjoyable, secure activities
- Ensuring program spaces remain tidy, clean, and welcoming
- Supporting Programme Managers in delivering smooth and lively sessions
- Identifying and reporting any behavioral, wellbeing, or safety issues
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Must have legal work rights in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship)
- Access to reliable transportation to West Auckland locations
- Enthusiasm for working with children, with any relevant experience welcomed
