Position Overview

The Cashier at a confidential medical practice in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is tasked with handling all patient payments accurately and facilitating smooth financial operations within the hospital setting. This role involves managing cash, card, and electronic transactions while providing courteous service to patients and visitors.

Primary Duties

• Accept and process payments for medical consultations, treatments, prescribed medications, and other hospital-related services.
• Handle various payment methods including cash, debit/credit cards, and electronic payments, while ensuring all transactions are recorded and receipts issued correctly.
• Conduct daily cash balancing and generate comprehensive end-of-day collection reports for record keeping.
• Work closely with billing, admissions, and insurance departments to confirm charges and address any payment queries or discrepancies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
• Between one and three years of professional experience in cashiering, finance, or customer service roles.
• Experience in healthcare or hospital environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with cash management, point-of-sale systems, and basic financial transaction protocols is considered beneficial.
