Overview

The role is based in a retail environment in High River, Alberta, Canada. This is a fully on-site position, so all duties must be performed at the workplace with no remote-work option.

Key Duties

• Handle cash, cheques, and debit/credit card transactions.
• Operate the scanner to process items accurately.
• Accept payments for products and services.
• Count daily or shift takings and match them against total sales.
• Replenish shelves and keep the counter area clean.
• Welcome customers and provide a friendly front-line experience.
• Bag or wrap purchases for customers.
• Weigh produce and bulk food items when required.
• Convert foreign currency amounts as needed.
• Check customer age when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
