The role of Cash Application Reconciliation Clerk involves supporting precise financial transactions within a healthcare setting that is dedicated to a mission. You will be responsible for managing the reconciliation of payments, maintaining thorough financial records, and verifying the accuracy of accounts receivable operations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily reconciliations between payment records and patient accounting systems to assure completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed logs of bank deposits, payment tracking sheets, and other financial documents required for operational auditing.
- Investigate and resolve patient payment issues by liaising with internal teams, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and relevant stakeholders.
- Support accounts receivable tasks through consistent data upkeep, reporting, and follow-up processes.
- Analyze financial data to detect discrepancies and apply problem-solving skills to determine correct solutions.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, systematically arranged, and complies with internal procedures and requirements.
- Execute duties independently according to established protocols while escalating complex matters appropriately.
- Collaborate across teams and leadership to achieve month-end and year-end financial objectives.

Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in accounting are necessary.
- Exposure to the healthcare sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience handling accounts receivable, payment reconciliation, or managing financial records is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to investigate discrepancies and devise solutions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with an ability to meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in computer operations, including financial software, spreadsheets, and data management tools.
