Role Overview
A Toronto-based immigration consultancy is looking for a seasoned and meticulous Case Officer to handle Canadian immigration matters from a remote setup. This position is open to candidates located in Delhi, India and follows Toronto business hours.
Job Details
- Location: Remote, hiring from Delhi, India
- Working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST (Toronto time)
- Employment type: Full-time
- Work mode: 100% remote
- Pay range: ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience
Core Responsibilities
- Handle the complete lifecycle of Canadian immigration case processing.
- Prepare and review applications for study permits, work permits, visitor visas, and permanent residence pathways such as Express Entry and PNP.
- Check all submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IRCC rules.
- Write submission letters, SOPs, and other supporting documents needed for filing.
- Work with clients to gather documents and provide application updates.
- Monitor case movement and keep detailed records for each file.
- Keep track of policy updates and other changes in Canadian immigration rules.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of practical experience in Canadian immigration case handling.
- Solid understanding of Canadian visa types, permits, and PR routes.
- Demonstrated success in preparing and submitting complete applications.
- Strong organizational abilities and a careful eye for detail.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment.
- Available to work during EST/Toronto time.
- Must have a dependable laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.
- Capable of working long hours at a computer, including extended screen time and sitting.
- Needs patience, concentration, and accuracy when managing detailed paperwork.
