Position Overview
Equans seeks a dedicated Cleaner to join the team located at Highfield ST Josephs, Whinfield Way, Rowlands Gill, NE39 2JE. This is a permanent role involving a 37.5-hour work week with a split shift schedule from 06:30 to 10:00 and 14:30 to 18:30. The position includes an annual salary of £26,837 and a comprehensive benefits package.
Role Responsibilities
The individual will oversee day-to-day management of the school premises focusing on caretaking tasks, fostering strong connections with school personnel and community groups. Responsibilities include ensuring all services maintain high standards through proactive site monitoring. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance is mandatory for this role.
