Role Overview
As a Caregiver in Galax, Virginia, you will support individuals in day-to-day living and encourage their independence, safety, and community participation. This position offers pay at $15 per hour.
Key Duties
- Provide hands-on support that helps individuals grow, learn, and live more independently.
- Build genuine, supportive relationships with the people you assist.
- Use good judgment and act with autonomy while following the needs of each participant.
- Encourage participation in community activities and preferred hobbies.
- Assist with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Help participants with personal hygiene and daily care routines.
- Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or more complex care needs.
