Role Summary
This is an office-based full-time role in Chandigarh for a motivated Career Advancement Officer who can guide candidates, understand their career goals, suggest the right CAP services, and turn enquiries into paying customers. The role suits someone who enjoys people-facing work, communicates well, and is genuinely interested in helping candidates progress in their careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold one-on-one career discussions with candidates at the office or in scheduled online meetings.
- Learn about their career objectives, job search hurdles, and professional background.
- Review resumes, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparedness, and overall employability.
- Offer practical advice on how candidates can improve their career prospects.
- Suggest CAP services that match each candidate’s needs.
- Use a consultative approach to convert enquiries into paid customers.
- Work toward monthly revenue and conversion goals.
- Promote relevant career services that improve candidate outcomes.
- Handle leads from CRM, website enquiries, social media, walk-ins, and referrals.
- Follow up promptly through calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
- Keep candidate interaction records accurate and updated in the CRM.
- Work with internal delivery teams to ensure services are completed on time.
- Track service quality and candidate satisfaction throughout the process.
- Respond to candidate queries until the service engagement is successfully completed.
- Build long-term relationships with candidates and encourage referrals, testimonials, and repeat business.
- Create a positive customer experience at every stage of the candidate journey.
Eligibility and Experience
- Any graduate can apply.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in counselling, recruitment, inside sales, education consulting, tele-sales, or career consulting is preferred.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills are required.
- Good interpersonal ability and persuasion skills are important.
- Applicants should be comfortable working in a target-focused environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and digital communication platforms is expected.
