About the Role
We are excited to offer multiple permanent full-time positions for Care Assistants at Letteragh Services located on Letteragh Road in Galway City. These roles are dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism through a person-centered approach to enable them to live fulfilling and autonomous lives.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care and support for people with intellectual disabilities and autism.
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Advocate for and promote the rights and wellbeing of those we support.

- Maintain professional standards including accountability, planning, and organizational management.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- FETAC Level 5 Healthcare qualification.
- Competence and experience in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and flexibility.
- Energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic personality with empathy and respect for diversity.
- Valid full driving license with access to a personal vehicle.
- Ability to work maturely and responsibly.
Working Hours and Shifts
Contracts available for 30 or 35 hours per week. The typical shifts include:
- Weekdays: Split shifts (7:00-10:00 / 8:00-10:00 and 15:00-21:00 / 15:00-23:00)
- Weekends: 10:00-22:00
- Night duties as required
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range from €14.58 to €22.19 per hour, depending on experience, with additional premiums for unsocial hours.
