Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Edmonton, Alberta. The Car Sales Specialist will support customers throughout the vehicle buying journey, from initial greeting and needs assessment to presenting appropriate vehicle choices. The role includes sharing product details, organizing test drives, preparing quotations, and assisting with financing and paperwork. The specialist will also follow up with prospects, nurture relationships with current customers, keep inventory and sales information current, and work with the wider team to meet sales goals. Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and build a clear understanding of their vehicle needs and preferences.
- Recommend suitable vehicles and explain features, options, and benefits in detail.
- Coordinate test drives and guide buyers through each step of the sales process.
- Prepare pricing estimates and assist with financing conversations and documentation.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with leads and stay engaged with existing clients.
- Update inventory details and keep sales records accurate and organized.
- Work closely with internal team members to help achieve monthly and ongoing sales targets.
- Represent the company professionally while contributing to a customer-friendly showroom environment.
Requirements
- Strong customer service abilities, with a focus on satisfaction and retention.
- Experience in consultative sales, preferably within automotive sales.
- Background in automotive, retail, or real estate sales is considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort using standard computer tools as well as CRM or sales-tracking systems.
- Availability to work on-site in Edmonton, AB, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business or a related area is a plus.
