Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Capital Markets Business Analyst for a contract position located in Toronto, ON. The role requires presence in the office three days a week.
Compensation: CAD 50 per hour inclusive.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business and technical teams to gather and analyze business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders in both business and technology sectors throughout project lifecycles.
- Support User Acceptance Testing efforts to ensure product quality and alignment with requirements.
- Manage coordination among business users, developers, business analysts, and project managers to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Lead cross-team collaboration to achieve consensus on solutions and project goals.
- Utilize Jira for project planning, tracking, and management activities.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Capital Markets domain.
- Strong knowledge of trading, investment banking, post-trade processes, and trade lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Ability to work on large-scale programs or projects effectively.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience contributing to extensive Capital Markets transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of front-office, middle-office, and back-office operations.
- Knowledge of trade processing, settlements, and regulatory compliance reporting.
- Background working in complex, cross-functional enterprise environments.
- Strong facilitation and change management abilities.
