Position Overview
This role involves providing polite and efficient pick-up and delivery services for packages along a designated route, ensuring all shipments comply with Federal Express Canada service criteria, and performing related customer service duties.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Completion of high school or equivalent education.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical capability to lift packages up to 70 lbs and handle items as heavy as 150 lbs using proper equipment.
- Preferred at least one year of experience in customer-oriented business roles.
- Successful completion of a mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training meeting the minimum threshold.
- Basic familiarity with Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational capacities.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage stress, and perform under high-pressure conditions.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules and holidays in accordance with business requirements.
