Job Summary

IRTH Contracting is seeking a seasoned and proactive Camp Boss to manage and oversee the daily operations of our labour accommodation facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring accommodation standards align with UAE regulations and company policies, fostering a safe, clean, and orderly living environment for employees. As part of our expanding construction operations, this position significantly contributes to workforce welfare, camp administration, and coordination among site teams, HR, transport, and facility service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the comprehensive operation and administration of labour accommodation facilities.
• Ensure strict adherence to UAE labour accommodation regulations, municipality mandates, and company policies.
• Manage camp occupancy, room assignments, employee transfers, and maintain accurate accommodation records.
• Conduct routine inspections to uphold standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and maintenance.
• Coordinate essential camp services including housekeeping, pest control, waste management, and laundry.
• Liaise with maintenance departments and external contractors to ensure prompt resolution of facility issues.
• Monitor utility usage and report any anomalies or excessive consumption.
• Address and resolve employee accommodation-related concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Coordinate workforce transportation schedules and movements between camps and project sites as needed.
• Maintain meticulous records of camp residents, inventory, assets, and supplies.
• Generate regular reports on camp operations, occupancy rates, maintenance activities, and welfare initiatives.
• Support emergency response protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Enforce camp rules and regulations while cultivating a positive living atmosphere for residents.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a Camp Boss, Camp Supervisor, or in a comparable role within the UAE construction sector.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE labour accommodation regulations and effective camp management practices.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale labour accommodations and diverse, multicultural workforces.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with HR, Administration, Transport, and Project teams.
• Strong communication and adept problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
• A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
