Calibration Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Calibration Engineer to conduct onsite calibration, verification, and maintenance of various industrial instruments at customer locations. This position requires frequent travel to client sites, ensuring precision in instrument calibration, meticulous documentation, and adherence to ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, verification, and adjustments on electrical, mechanical, thermal, pressure, and dimensional instruments.
• Travel to client sites within approximately 80 kilometers daily for calibration, inspection, and troubleshooting activities.
• Document calibration records thoroughly and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 regulations.
• Handle calibration tools and equipment carefully during both laboratory and field operations.
• Maintain detailed instrument histories to guarantee data traceability.
• Offer technical advice to customers regarding calibration protocols and proper use of equipment.
• Strictly observe safety and quality standards throughout all procedures.
• Engage in technical training and actively support process enhancement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic understanding of calibration techniques and measurement concepts.
• Capability to operate and manage electronic, mechanical, and thermal instruments.
• Readiness for travel demands, covering up to 80 kilometers per day.
• Effective communication and documentation proficiency.
• Fundamental computer skills.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards is advantageous.
