Calculator (m/w/d) in Track Construction

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Calculator (m/w/d) specializing in track construction to independently and responsibly calculate construction services within the rail track sector. The role involves evaluating tender documents, preparing cost estimates through price inquiries, and collaborating with both internal and external experts as well as subcontractors to formulate offers.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducting calculations of construction services in track construction
• Evaluating tender documents and conducting cost estimation via price inquiries
• Preparing bids by involving internal/external specialists and subcontractors
• Checking and recording offers from subcontractors and material requests
• Creating order and work calculations
• Collaborating in quantity surveying with the team
• Maintaining calculation data

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering (Diploma, Bachelor, Master) or a technical vocational qualification with professional experience in calculation and/or construction supervision
• Strong knowledge of construction site processes and calculation techniques
• Basic proficiency in IT, excellent skills in MS Office, and good user knowledge of a calculation software (e.g., RIB-iTWO)
• Fluent German communication skills, both spoken and written
