About the role
Insomnia is hiring a Cafe Manager for its Kells location. The company was founded in Galway in 1997 and is known as Ireland’s first independent coffee shop brand. Its coffee is described as bold, confident and smooth, with a distinctive character. The business is expanding and is seeking motivated coffee enthusiasts who can uphold its promise of serving a consistently great cup of coffee in every store visit.
What you’ll do
This role focuses on leading a team in a busy café setting while maintaining strong standards in customer experience, service delivery and day-to-day operations. You will be expected to manage people effectively, support a fast-paced environment and ensure processes are followed consistently.
Experience and skills needed
The ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years of experience managing a team in a high-pressure, fast-moving setting, ideally in a similar environment. Strong leadership, people management, customer service and communication abilities are essential. Experience working in a process-led environment where quality standards are consistently upheld is also important.
