Role Overview
This full-time, on-site Caddie position is located at Victoria Golf Resort in Kandy, Central Province, Sri Lanka. The role focuses on assisting golfers throughout their round, supporting smooth course operations, and contributing to an excellent guest experience.
Key Duties
- Carry golf bags for players during their round.
- Clean and arrange clubs as needed.
- Provide yardage details and help guide golfers around the course.
- Help maintain an efficient pace of play.
- Offer club-selection suggestions when requested by the golfer.
- Encourage and enforce proper course etiquette and safety practices.
- Welcome golfers and respond politely to questions or requests.
- Coordinate with golf operations staff whenever support is required.
- Observe course conditions and report any issues or concerns.
- Assist in keeping both the course and equipment in good condition.
Qualifications
Applicants should bring strong guest-service ability, sound knowledge of golf basics and course rules, and comfortable communication skills for dealing with golfers and team members. The job requires enough physical fitness to walk the course, carry bags, and work outdoors for long periods. A dependable, punctual, and cooperative attitude is important. Experience in golf operations, hospitality, or another client-facing role is helpful. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is expected based on course requirements.

This role is based entirely on site at the resort. Work hours may vary depending on golfing activity and operational needs.
