Job description
Main Objective
The purpose of this position is to keep cabin maintenance and cleaning work at the highest possible standard, while operating within the limits set by procedures and regulations. All activities must comply with flydubai requirements and applicable aviation authority rules.
Key Responsibilities
- Preserve the quality of the interiors across the operated aircraft fleet.
- Uphold both interior and exterior cleaning standards for the fleet in service.
- Attend arriving aircraft on turnaround within 10 minutes of landing.
- Check the Cabin Defects Log (CDL) for incoming aircraft and make sure every recorded item is addressed.
- Perform duties assigned by the Team Leader Aircraft Appearance (TLAA).
- Complete allocated work packages in full, update AMOS accurately, and record any discovered damage clearly and precisely.
- Create Parts Requests for Aircraft Deferred Defects (ADD) when needed, and ensure that required spares are ordered and that both AMOS and the ADD sheet in the Technical Log are updated when the spares are known.
- Flag aircraft cleaning needs to the TLAA.
- Inspect aircraft after cleaning to confirm flydubai standards have been met.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean and maintained to the standard expected by flydubai.
- Support overtime requirements when requested, including voluntary and rostered overtime of up to 50 hours per calendar month.
- Provide assistance to, and step in for, the TLAA when required.
Qualifications
The role calls for a high school diploma, fluency in English, and prior experience maintaining commercial aircraft cabins in either line maintenance or base maintenance settings. The expected experience level is 3 to 5 years.
