Role overview
This is a full-time production role based in Lonsdale, South Australia, where you will help manufacture fibreglass pipe systems used in water, waste and civil applications. The work supports a local manufacturing operation that supplies both Australian and New Zealand markets.
Pay and roster
- Hourly rate: $32.32
- Workdays: Tuesday to Friday
- Shift patterns: day shift 6:00am to 4:00pm, afternoon shift 2:00pm to 12:00am, night shift 6:00pm to 4:00am
- Additional allowances are paid for afternoon and night shifts
- Four-day work week with a three-day weekend
About the employer and site
The employer manufactures Flowtite GRP fibreglass pipe systems at its Lonsdale facility and works with local partners to support regional growth. The site has a workforce of more than 80 Australian employees and has produced over 1,500 km of pipe for major infrastructure projects.
Key duties
You will be involved in machine-based production work and the operation of manufacturing equipment and tooling to produce fibreglass water and waste pipes.
What is required
- A current driver licence and the legal right to work in Australia
- Prior experience in production or a similar manufacturing environment
- Confidence using machinery and production tooling
- A forklift licence is preferred but not essential
