Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate purchase orders for raw materials, components, and maintenance items following established corporate policies.
- Oversee supplier performance, address issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing, and nurture strong vendor relationships.
- Analyze material needs and production plans to guarantee materials are available on schedule.
- Create and manage production timelines based on sales forecasts, inventory status, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to streamline material flow and solve supply chain challenges.
- Maintain precise inventory documentation and assist with cycle and physical inventory counts.
- Identify cost savings opportunities and enhance procurement and planning processes.
- Compile and deliver reports regarding purchasing activities, inventory condition, and production effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Between 1 and 3 years' experience in purchasing/planning or other supply chain roles within manufacturing.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP software such as SAP, Oracle, MFG Pro, or JDE.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
- Preferred certifications: APICS CPIM or CSCP.
- Experience with legacy ERP platforms, especially MFG Pro, is beneficial.
- Background in medical device or regulated manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
- Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and process enhancements.
