Role overview

This position is part of the Rooms & Guest Services Operations team at a luxury hotel in Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering highly personalized butler-style support and ensuring each guest’s preferences and requests are anticipated and handled with care.

What you will do

• Provide attentive, tailored service to meet guest needs throughout their stay.
• Deliver coffee and tea when requested.
• Review notes for incoming guests and communicate key preferences to the wider hotel team.
• Coordinate with the front desk to prepare VIP rooms.
• Verify room key details and confirm that the room meets guest expectations before arrival.
• Work with the front desk to escort early arrivals.
• Be present during guest check-in to anticipate needs and support a smooth arrival experience.
• Complete butler flags entered into local systems by reservations, sales, and other departments.
• Send pre-arrival emails as needed.
• Escort VIP guests to their rooms in coordination with the front desk.
• Partner closely with Guest Services and Engineering on guest requests.
• Collect laundry requests from guests, track delivery, and return items promptly.

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to a manager immediately.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Protect confidential information and company property.
• Greet all guests according to brand standards and respond to service needs with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, including when handling phone calls and written documents.
• Build positive working relationships and support colleagues in achieving shared goals.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors.

Physical requirements

• Be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place items weighing up to 25 pounds without help.
• Be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods, including an entire shift.
