About the Practice
Capgemini Invent’s Business Technology practice advises organizations on how to make smarter choices about technology investment, governance, and value realization. The team mainly serves financial services clients in banking and insurance, while also taking on selected work in other industries.
In Southeast Asia, the group is deliberately compact. Work happens in small, high-performing teams with minimal internal layers and direct exposure to client leadership. Consultants are trusted with meaningful responsibility early and are expected to deliver rigorous analysis and clear guidance on important programs.
What You Will Work On
Large Program Steering: Bring structure and delivery discipline to complex transformation programs that run for multiple years, creating a control tower for governance and visibility across business and IT.
Enterprise Architecture: Shape the technology blueprint that informs major investment choices, ensuring the client’s technology landscape is aligned, scalable, and supportive of business priorities.
IT Cost and Value Management: Review technology portfolios, identify opportunities to optimize spend, build strong business cases, and help CIOs communicate both the financial and strategic impact of their initiatives.
AI at Scale: Support clients in moving from experimentation to execution by developing strategies, operating models, and governance frameworks for responsible use of generative and agentic AI in regulated settings.
Your Role
In this consultant role, you will focus on solving problems. You will work closely with client teams to break down ambiguous issues, interpret complex information, and develop practical roadmaps for transformation.
You will help connect business objectives with the technology required to deliver them. The role offers early ownership and regular interaction with senior decision-makers.
Requirements
1 to 4 years of experience in management consulting, IT strategy, or a corporate transformation office, with hands-on exposure to at least one of the core areas: large-scale program governance, enterprise architecture, IT operating model design, IT financial management, or AI strategy.
Strong analytical ability and a structured approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to turn complex issues into clear executive-level narratives.
Comfort in client-facing situations, including facilitating workshops, contributing in steering committee settings, and preparing well-supported deliverables.
A bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related discipline, plus strong curiosity about technology and the ability to learn complex subjects quickly.
Background in financial services is helpful, though candidates with strong motivation to build expertise in the sector will also be valued.
