Aarorn Technologies Inc is hiring a Business Systems Analyst for a contract role on the Client’s Digital Commerce team in Toronto, Ontario. The position requires working onsite three days per week. Compensation is CAD 45 to CAD 50 per hour on an incorporated basis.

The role focuses on end-to-end requirements delivery for digital commerce capabilities, spanning planning, discovery, analysis, documentation, coordination, and ongoing support. Core platforms and tools include AEM as a Cloud Service, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and related digital ecosystem components.

In this position, you will act as the key connector between product owners, marketing teams, content specialists, analytics professionals, architects, and engineering teams to help deliver strong outcomes across digital properties.

Key responsibilities

  • Gather, assess, and document business, marketing, content, and analytics needs; produce artifacts such as current-state and future-state process maps, user stories, story maps, data catalogs, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
  • Convert stakeholder expectations into precise techno-functional stories and specifications that can be implemented and tested clearly by development and QA teams.
  • Support Agile/Scrum delivery by managing backlog refinement, elaborating stories, and assisting with sprint planning; keep a current library of reusable requirement documents.
  • Set requirements for tagging, measurement, consent handling, and data governance related to Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Experience Platform integrations.
  • Lead working sessions with business stakeholders, technical leads, architects, and QA to clarify scope, shape design decisions, and maintain traceability from requirements to delivery.
  • Spot, monitor, escalate, and help resolve issues tied to data, systems, and integrations during the full delivery lifecycle.
  • Assist with UAT planning, support QA during validation, and confirm that delivered solutions align with business goals and acceptance criteria.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business System Analyst or Technical BSA in Agile technology delivery, with proven ability to manage requirements from start to finish.
  • Strong skills in facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder coordination across business, IT, and vendor groups.
  • Working knowledge of digital content management systems, preferably AEM, along with digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, and tag management tools like Adobe Launch.
  • Experience creating techno-functional user stories and acceptance criteria for complex platform integrations.
  • Comfort working across business and engineering teams in enterprise delivery settings.

Preferred experience

  • Exposure to consent management platforms and privacy-by-design practices.
  • Ability to use SQL or other data analysis tools to support analytics-related work.
  • Background in financial services or other highly regulated digital environments.

Additional information

Location: Toronto, ON, with onsite attendance required three days per week.

Employment type: Contract.

Pay: CAD 45 to CAD 50 per hour, incorporated.
