Role overview
Fujitsu Asia Pte Ltd is looking for a Business Support Executive on a one-year contract to help keep business unit operations running efficiently. The role is centered on administrative coordination, operational follow-up, and internal support that enables the team to meet its goals. The right candidate should be highly organized, careful with details, able to communicate clearly, and comfortable managing several priorities in a busy environment.
What you will do
- Deliver day-to-day administrative assistance for the business unit, including meeting scheduling, calendar management, travel coordination, and the preparation of presentations and reports.
- Support project cost-related activities, including assistance with cost allocation preparation and processing.
- Coordinate billing activities by working with internal stakeholders such as sales, finance, and project management to monitor milestones, service delivery, and invoice creation, while following up on pending items to avoid delays.
- Prepare and consolidate business reports covering performance indicators, operational updates, and financial tracking for management review.
- Handle alliance administration for Head of Practices and Managers, including marketing fund claims, deal registration, and partner rebates or incentives.
- Follow company procedures and contribute ideas to improve business support processes and overall efficiency.
- Keep physical and digital records well organized, current, and easy to retrieve in line with company standards.
- Act as a contact point for internal and external stakeholders, managing queries and routing communications appropriately.
- Take on additional tasks or project work as assigned by management to support wider business objectives.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in administration, business support, or operations, preferably in the IT or technology sector.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, including data analysis functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Experience with SAP or another ERP platform is strongly preferred.
- A careful, detail-driven approach with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Good understanding of business processes, with the ability to follow established workflows and suggest improvements where needed.
- Strong planning and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Effective spoken and written communication skills, with the professionalism to interact across all levels of staff and outside partners.
- Ability to collaborate well in a team while also working independently with limited supervision.
- A proactive mindset with solid problem-solving skills.
