Business Strategy Analyst

Role Overview

The Business Strategy Analyst position is a part-time remote role focused on aiding strategic planning and critical decision-making for CMRDI Training Center. This role demands analyzing internal and external data, monitoring market trends, and reviewing training program outcomes to uncover avenues for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile reports, dashboards, and presentations synthesizing data insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Partner with multiple teams to enhance business models, optimize strategies for pricing and resource use, and boost operational efficiency.
• Assist with feasibility studies, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and offer guidance on strategic partnerships or new service innovations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong analytical abilities with experience interpreting both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Business analysis and consulting expertise to review processes, service offerings, and market positioning.
• Strategic planning competence for assisting with long-term objectives, initiatives, and performance evaluation frameworks.
• Knowledge in finance to aid budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, data analytics tools, and presentation software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and BI platforms.
• Excellent communication skills in both writing and speaking, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
• Ability to operate independently in a remote work setting, effectively managing priorities and deadlines.
• Familiarity or interest in training, educational services, or the industrial/metallurgical sectors is advantageous.
