About the Role
This position is with Mercor, a company that connects top creative and technical professionals with AI research labs. The team operates from San Francisco and counts Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey among its investors.
You will work as a Business & Professional Services Expert on a remote contract basis, contributing about 15 to 20 hours each week. The pay range for this role is $60 to $80 per hour.
What You’ll Do
- Create task prompts that demand strong business judgment and careful attention to instructions.
- Build detailed, multi-step assignments based on realistic workplace materials such as business plans, reports, and presentations.
- Assess AI models on how well they understand professional documents and follow instructions.
- Design clear, objective scoring rubrics for evaluating model output.
- Work alongside AI research teams to help shape polished, structured professional responses.
- Handle work independently and asynchronously while meeting deadlines and helping improve model quality.
Experience Needed
Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: management consulting, business strategy, marketing, sales, human resources, organizational development, business operations, or general management.
