Job description
About Stripe
Stripe provides the financial infrastructure that helps businesses take payments, expand revenue, and open up new commercial opportunities. Its platform is used by companies ranging from major enterprises to fast-growing startups, with the broader mission of growing the internet economy and making global commerce more accessible.
About the Team
The Internal System Org supports Stripe’s core business functions across Finance and Strategy, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Product Experience, and GTM. Within that organization, the Financial Enablement team serves as the central analytics partner, helping Finance and Strategy, GTM, Accounting, and Product teams reach their objectives through dataset creation, analytics support, dashboards, AI-enabled workflows, and process improvements.
Role Overview
This position is for someone who enjoys tackling practical business problems and creating measurable impact. The role suits a person who can adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment, learn new business areas and technologies with ease, and communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong SQL and analytical capability are essential. A background in Finance or Accounting, or exposure to AI tools, is beneficial, though not mandatory.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze data, spot meaningful patterns, carry out research, and build visual outputs that provide clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
- Partner with teams across Finance and Strategy, Accounting, Product, Tax, User Billing, Seller Systems, and Sales Operations to support financial priorities and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product partners to help shape and define product-oriented solutions.
- Use AI tools to improve the efficiency of collaboration and day-to-day work.
Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering, plus at least 4 years of experience in data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving ability, advanced SQL skills with at least 3 years of experience, and a strong grasp of how data relationships work.
- Experience handling large-scale datasets.
- Strong ability to organize and manage projects effectively.
- Working knowledge of Finance, Accounting, and GTM.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in demanding, fast-paced settings such as high-growth fintech, technology companies, or management consulting.
- Experience working alongside Product Managers, Engineers, GTM, Accounting, or Finance teams.
- Exposure to financial datasets.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude Code or Kai.
- A qualification in Accounting or Finance, or a CPA/CFA designation.
In-Office Expectations
Office-based employees in most locations are expected to work from the local office or with users for at least 50% of each month. This may differ by role, team, and location. In certain Stripe Delivery Center roles, including Dublin, the expectation is 100% office-based work. Some teams may require even greater in-office presence depending on workflow and user support needs. These expectations are intended to balance in-person collaboration and learning with flexibility where possible.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base pay for this role in the primary location is €72,000 to €108,000. The final offer may differ based on location, experience, qualifications, and the level assigned during hiring. Candidates outside the primary location may ask for the salary range applicable to their region during the interview process.
Depending on location, total compensation may also include equity, company bonus or sales commission/bonus, retirement plans, health coverage, and wellness stipends.
