Role overview
Stranger Soccer is growing into major cities around the world, and this opportunity is for someone who wants to own and operate the business in Doha, Qatar. This is a business-building role rather than a conventional job: the right person will be responsible for launching, running, and expanding the brand locally.
The position is best suited to an entrepreneurial person with a strong love for football and a desire to make the game easier for people in their city to access and enjoy.

Interested candidates are encouraged to review the opportunity details on the company website, particularly the section about bringing Stranger Soccer to a new city. Candidates who feel aligned with the role should complete the interest form and are also advised to explore the mobile app.
Core responsibilities
- Introduce the Stranger Soccer brand and establish its presence in the assigned city.
- Recruit, coach, and oversee a compact core team of 2–3 people, plus freelance official game hosts.
- Identify, negotiate, and secure suitable venues and time slots for matches.
- Create and run marketing and sales campaigns across digital channels and local ground-level activities to grow the player community.
- Oversee match-day operations to deliver a smooth, enjoyable experience that encourages repeat bookings.
- Use the operational systems, technology, and guidance available from the Singapore headquarters.
Candidate profile
- Strong enthusiasm for football and an active connection to the local football scene.
- Background in business, management, or customer-facing work.
- Entrepreneurial thinking; experience in startups or running a business is an advantage.
- Strong sense of ownership and the ability to build and scale a business in the local market.
- Performance-oriented mindset, with earnings linked to personal effort and business results.
About the company
Football is the most widely followed sport globally, yet many fans do not play regularly. Stranger Soccer aims to change that by making it simple to play football, as convenient as going for a jog or a workout.
Using its mobile app, players can find games, reserve a spot instantly, and turn up to play. Founded in Singapore, the company now operates in more than 10 cities and has delivered over 100,000 games. It continues to expand and is seeking partner-licensees who want to bring the concept to their own city.
Mission and vision
Mission: Make football participation as effortless as going for a jog.
Vision: Build a world where playing football is as common and widespread as watching it.
Additional information
This role offers the opportunity to build your own local venture with the support of Stranger Soccer’s systems, operations knowledge, and technology. Success in the role depends heavily on business performance and personal execution.
