Role Summary
The Business Operations Coordinator will oversee and manage operational activities to ensure alignment with customer expectations and organizational objectives in a fully remote capacity. Location specifics will be addressed during the interview phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Emphasize safety as the top priority, ensuring all staff adhere to appropriate safety protocols.
- Support Service Managers in coordinating and managing daily business operations.
- Track, regulate, and steer business operations to fulfill client requirements and company targets.
- Act as a liaison between customers and management to facilitate seamless project delivery.
- Oversee project tasks ensuring on-time delivery within budget constraints.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
- Develop and maintain robust customer relationships through consistent communication and meetings.
- Lead and document internal project meetings among stakeholders; schedule and record external meeting minutes.
- Manage multiple high-priority project issues to completion within deadlines.
- Analyze operational performance and propose strategic enhancements.
- Guide internal teams to reach performance goals effectively.
- Identify and promptly resolve operational challenges.
- Follow standardized procedures for optimized business operations.
- Maintain precise operational documentation and procedures.
- Perform essential administrative functions including establishing and managing project filing systems.
- Finance-related duties such as coding vendor invoices, preparing change orders, subcontracts, purchase orders, and communicating with subcontractors regarding changes.
- Support Service Managers in monthly profitability reviews and collaborate across teams to achieve financial objectives.
- Monitor and validate CMMS work orders for invoicing approval.
- Prepare invoices for Project Manager's approval before submission to clients.
- Recommend process improvements, collaborate on technological advancements, and coordinate implementations with SOLV Energy leadership.
- Promote diversity and inclusion as an integral part of the company culture.
Performance Measurement
- Compliance with company policies and procedures manual.
- Maintenance of up-to-date and standardized job-site documentation.
- Timely, accurate preparation and management of work orders, subcontracts, purchase orders, and tracking progress.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two years experience managing contracts and change orders.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Fundamental understanding of ERP systems.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and self-motivation.
- Encourages teamwork and collaboration across departments.
- Experience working within a diverse, multidisciplinary, employee-owned organization is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to translate vision into actionable plans.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position spans from $60,632.00 to $75,732.80 annually.
