The Chief Business Officer (CBO) organization plays a critical role in driving Airbnb’s global growth, business expansion, and commercialization of both existing and new business segments. This includes increasing the availability of high-quality stays, Experiences, and Services, as well as executing the company’s global market strategy. The Global Markets Team, part of the CBO, ensures local relevance and supports the needs of hosts and guests, advancing growth strategies in supply, demand, and other areas aligned with community priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Align multiple functions to meet regional business targets in the Americas, partnering with the Director of Regional Business Operations and Growth.
• Lead the entire lifecycle of cross-functional projects, starting from defining precise problem statements to designing ideal solutions, identifying roadblocks, and facilitating collaboration across teams to resolve issues. Such projects cover demand, supply, and regulatory business aspects.
• Facilitate regular business operations meetings, spearheading weekly sessions with cross-functional teams—including field and online operations, marketing, product, and legal—to track progress on critical initiatives.
• Leverage diverse data sources to analyze both broad and detailed market trends, presenting insights and actionable recommendations to regional and country leadership to inform strategic decisions.
• Support regional leadership by managing the performance narrative around key metrics and delivering concise reports during weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• At least 10 years of professional experience, ideally blending data modeling, business analytics, and project management in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• A demonstrated proactive approach to managing projects from inception through completion and review.
• Ability to work effectively amid ambiguity and uncertainty, creating clarity and actionable paths.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts, data analysis, and AI tools is advantageous.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and present clearly at all organizational levels.
• Proven ability to influence and unify cross-functional teams around a common goal, using both qualitative and quantitative evidence.
• Strong capability to balance detailed execution with broader strategic understanding.
• Efficient multitasking and prioritization skills, coordinating support across teams to meet project objectives.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and process documentation expertise.
• Experience scaling initiatives across global, distributed teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
• A hands-on, results-driven attitude focused on swift execution.
• Proficiency with large data sets in Excel is essential; SQL skills are strongly preferred.

Location and Work Arrangement

This position is eligible for remote work within the United States, provided the employee resides in a state where Airbnb, Inc. maintains a registered entity (excluding certain states as per company policies). Occasional office or offsite attendance may be required as agreed upon with management.

Compensation and Benefits

The role’s base salary range is $168,000 to $203,000 USD annually, dependent on experience, skills, and market factors. Additional eligibility includes bonuses, equity, benefits, and employee travel credits.
