Role Overview
Join our Business Banking team in New Plymouth, a dynamic regional business hub in New Zealand. This position may also consider Wellington-based candidates with exceptional credentials. Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong relationships with business clients.
- Assess client requirements and offer customised lending and banking solutions.
- Prepare detailed credit proposals and lending recommendations.
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio through proactive engagement.
- Partner with specialist teams across the bank to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Drive business growth through expansion of balance sheets and market share gains.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences and support ongoing process enhancements.
- Adhere to risk management standards and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in Business or Commercial Banking or relevant financial services sectors.
- Strong expertise in credit assessment and lending processes.
- Proficient in analyzing and interpreting business financial statements.
- Proven ability to build trustworthy client relationships and provide outstanding service.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team.
- Proactive risk management and ethical decision-making skills.
- Passion for supporting businesses in New Zealand and fostering long-term relationships.
- Confidence in engaging business owners and influencing decision-making with commercially sound advice.
