As a Business Manager or Executive Business Manager within ASB's Business Banking SME team, your primary goal will be to deliver tailored banking solutions addressing the specific financial needs and objectives of SME clients while ensuring exemplary customer service.

You will utilize your professional networks alongside ASB’s extensive connections to discover new clients and cultivate strong relationships within the internal teams and the broader market.

Although preference is given to candidates based in Hamilton or Wellington, ASB welcomes applications from qualified individuals throughout New Zealand, including regional centres, as the business banking sector expands.

Candidate Profile

You should possess significant experience in SME banking, including a robust understanding of the business banking environment and an existing network that can generate new business opportunities. Your approach is characterized by credibility, sound commercial insight, and being a trusted contact within the sector.

Alongside your solid knowledge of banking and financial industry principles, you demonstrate effective relationship-building skills, capable stakeholder influence, and clear communication at all organizational levels.

Your track record includes preparing credit applications and loan submissions, reflecting the necessary technical expertise for this position.
