Role overview
This position is with Shopee in Singapore for a Business Intelligence internship focused on data extraction, reporting, automation, and commercial insight generation across campaigns and category initiatives.
What you'll do
- Use SQL to pull accurate datasets for internal users and stakeholders.
- Create ad hoc reports that help different functions and product categories make decisions.
- Streamline and automate reporting scripts and code so the output remains organized and easy to maintain.
- Identify products that are trending or priced most competitively for use in campaigns and collections.
- Support competitor analysis to help maintain a strong market position.
- Work with the category team to build insights and shape small-scale strategies for major campaigns.
- Partner with the broader Business Development and Marketing teams on other important projects and initiatives.
What we're looking for
- Applicants should currently be enrolled in, or pursuing, a bachelor's degree.
- You should have a structured way of thinking and a strong analytical mindset.
- A genuine interest in e-commerce is important for this role.
- Good planning and organization skills are needed to manage tasks efficiently.
- You should be comfortable working with Excel, including Pivot tables and VLOOKUP, as well as Python and SQL.
- Strong accuracy and a sharp eye for detail are essential.
- Full-time interns are preferred, and the internship length is expected to be 3 to 6 months.
