Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

Role overview

We are hiring a collaborative Business Intelligence Analyst to help improve technology operations and support data-led enhancements for a construction-oriented organization in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position partners with a hands-on IT group to keep systems running smoothly, assist end users, and support ongoing infrastructure and security work. It is a strong fit for someone who can balance responsive technical support with steady process improvement in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside internal IT colleagues to keep network, server, and end-user technology dependable across the organization.
• Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot key infrastructure elements such as switches, gateways, firewalls, wireless networks, VLANs, and IP-based services.
• Support identity and access tasks by handling user accounts, permissions, policy settings, and related directory services.
• Assist with Microsoft 365, Exchange, virtualization tools, and backup platforms to improve stability and recovery readiness.
• Resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues across desktops, thin clients, mobile devices, and essential business software.
• Prepare, deploy, refresh, and document workstations and other devices throughout the hardware lifecycle.
• Provide operational support for specialized tools such as AutoCAD, Trimble solutions, BIM360, CAMduct, and cloud-based business systems.
• Keep asset logs, warranty information, device assignments, and organized storage records up to date for IT equipment.
• Support infrastructure upgrade efforts including server room cleanup, cable management, equipment decommissioning, and secure disposal of outdated technology.

Requirements

• Background in business analysis and technology support in a detail-focused environment.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and cloud-based business applications.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure concepts including switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and wireless connectivity.
• Understanding of user administration, access control, and directory services in a Windows environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and device-related issues across multiple end-user technologies.
• Strong organizational ability for documentation, inventory control, and asset tracking.
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented approach when working with both technical staff and business users.
