Role overview

ServiceNow is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to generate meetings that can turn into qualified opportunities and support early pipeline growth. The position is centered on learning practical prospecting and outreach methods, engaging members of buying groups, and building a strong foundation in the ServiceNow business.

You will connect with prospective buying groups through structured outreach, assess meeting interest using set guidelines, record interactions accurately, and pass qualified meetings to the GTM team for opportunity validation. You will also manage follow-up activity for strategic marketing events.

Key responsibilities

  • Reach out to current and prospective clients by phone, email, and social channels using approved messaging and defined qualification standards.
  • Use basic problem-solving methods to understand client needs and decide the right next step within the set criteria.
  • Work closely and consistently with the Global Business Acceleration leadership, development teams, and GTM teams.
  • Extend brand-approved content to prospects in a way that creates a connected and personalized experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of all outreach and follow-up activity in ServiceNow systems to support reporting and forecasting.
  • Take part in development simulations, in-person competitions, and performance activities while meeting KPI expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to learn and apply standard outreach and qualification practices.
  • Good relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across peers, sales, marketing, renewals, development teams, and GBA leadership.
  • High motivation, curiosity, and openness to coaching and feedback.
  • Resilient, dependable, confident, collaborative, driven, and coachable.
  • Willingness to learn AI-native tools and use them to improve outreach, prioritization, and daily workflows.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to follow documented processes for tracking activity and managing follow-ups.
  • Ability to influence others and create urgency to move issues toward resolution.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing and SaaS, or a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Ability to participate in development simulations, in-person messaging activities, and defined performance/metrics exercises.
  • Interest in building customer relationships, qualifying opportunities, and contributing to early-stage revenue pipeline.
  • Commitment to full participation in Global Business Acceleration development tracks with the goal of building a long-term career at ServiceNow within 48 months.
  • Native or fluent French speaker.
  • Available to start on 1st August.
