About the Company
The employer is a rapidly expanding premium Mediterranean food label focused on olive oil, olives, and other natural food products. Its aim is to share authentic Mediterranean taste with customers across the UAE through retail outlets, online sales channels, hospitality accounts, and food service partners.
Role Overview
This full-time, office-based role in Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), Dubai is suited to an energetic and target-oriented professional who can drive business growth while also supporting marketing activity. The position combines sales development, account management, channel expansion, and promotional support.
Sales Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day selling activity across e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
- Plan and support promotions, campaigns, and special offers to boost sales.
- Keep product availability and listings up to date and track stock levels.
- Review sales performance and suggest practical improvements.
- Work with marketplace teams and fulfillment partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Prospect supermarkets, gourmet outlets, specialty food stores, and independent retailers.
- Generate leads, arrange meetings, and present products to potential buyers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and build long-term relationships with retail partners.
- Follow through on onboarding steps until the first orders are placed.
- Develop and manage relationships with hotels, restaurants, cafés, caterers, and distributors.
- Visit clients, conduct product presentations, and uncover new business opportunities.
- Negotiate supply arrangements and encourage repeat business through strong relationship management.
- Support expansion into modern retail chains and traditional grocery/wholesale channels.
- Assist with product listing processes and merchandising support where needed.
- Prepare quotations and invoices, follow up on payments, coordinate deliveries, and keep CRM and sales records accurate.
- Share weekly sales updates and reports.
Marketing Responsibilities
- Support social media activity, including content planning and scheduling.
- Coordinate user-generated content campaigns and influencer partnerships.
- Assist with digital marketing initiatives and online promotions.
- Help plan and execute product launches and brand campaigns.
- Support sampling, in-store activations, and other trade marketing efforts.
- Work with distributors and retail partners on joint marketing activities.
- Assist with exhibition planning and participation in food expos and trade shows.
- Represent the company at events whenever required.
- Support marketplace promotion activities and retailer campaigns.
- Help create point-of-sale materials and promotional assets with the design team.
General Duties
- Take on additional sales, commercial, or marketing tasks assigned by management.
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.
- Continuously look for ways to grow sales and improve brand visibility.
- Represent the business professionally at all times.
Compensation and Work Setup
The package includes a basic salary, sales commission, and performance-based incentives, along with opportunities for career growth. The role is full-time, based in the JLT office, and may require field visits across the UAE.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a similar field is required.
- At least 2 to 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing is preferred.
- Background in FMCG or food products is strongly preferred.
- Experience dealing with retailers or HORECA clients will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities are essential.
- The candidate should be self-driven, goal-focused, organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
- Confidence in cold calling and attending customer meetings is important.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools is needed.
- Familiarity with social media and digital marketing channels is expected.
- English fluency is required; Arabic is a strong plus.
- An entrepreneurial attitude, positive outlook, and independent working style are preferred.
- The candidate must be willing to travel across the UAE for client meetings.
- Interest in food brands and consumer products is desirable.
