Job description
Role Overview
As our new Business Development Manager based in Singapore, you will lead international sales efforts focusing on the Singapore market. Your role will include managing and executing business development strategies aimed at sustained growth, exploring new sales channels and partners systematically, monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitors internationally to provide actionable insights, and supporting all current clients in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales and pricing negotiations, including terms and contract discussions.
- Identify opportunities for marketing and PR to enhance brand awareness.
- Assist in obtaining relevant IT security certifications and assurances for SaaS offerings across vertical industries.
- Coordinate and participate in trade shows and promotional events in Singapore, alone or with partners.
- Review pricing strategies and support dealers and resellers in co-selling initiatives within their markets.
- Exercise professional personnel management practices and report directly to the CEO.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Business Administration or completed vocational training in foreign trade.
- Relevant professional experience in business development and export, ideally in B2B and IT sectors specifically related to Singapore.
- Structured, independent working style with a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Demonstrated teamwork abilities and leadership experience.
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
- Confident, committed, and professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent English skills both written and spoken at native level.
- Flexibility, willingness to travel, mobility, and multicultural sensitivity.
