Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Dammam office. This position is focused on driving profitable expansion of Tristar Group's road transport services across Saudi Arabia, with a primary focus on securing new contracts and growing strategic customer partnerships in sectors such as fuel, lubricants, chemicals, and bulk liquid transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new business ventures within oil & gas, petrochemical, aviation, mining, industrial, and energy sectors.
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with leading clients including Aramco, SABIC, Shell, BP, ExxonMobil, TotalEnergies, and other major industrial accounts.
- Oversee tender processes ensuring submissions are competitive, compliant, and delivered on time.
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle from initial prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, contract finalization, to handover to the Operations team.
- Achieve annual targets for revenue, gross profit, and EBITDA within the designated region.
- Collaborate with Operations and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams to formulate commercially viable transportation solutions.
- Expand current accounts through contract renewals, additional service routes, fleet growth, and new offerings.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting of revenue streams.
- Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, pricing strategies, and emerging business prospects.
- Ensure full compliance with company governance policies, HSE standards, and contractual requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
- 8 to 12 years of commercial experience in tanker transport, fuel logistics, chemicals, bulk liquid transportation, or industrial logistics sectors.
- Proven success in securing large logistics contracts within Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent negotiation skills and strong background in managing tender processes.
- Well-established network within the Saudi oil & gas and industrial sectors is essential.
