We are looking for a Business Development Manager in Ahmedabad to help generate fresh business and contribute to steady revenue growth. The role involves identifying promising prospects, building lasting client partnerships, and turning opportunities into long-term customers while supporting overall growth goals.

Role details

  • Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
  • Work mode: Full-time, on-site
  • Experience required: 4 to 6 years
  • Working hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Working schedule: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: No bar for the right candidate

Qualifications

Preferred educational backgrounds include BCA, MCA, B.Sc. IT, M.Sc. IT, B.E. CE, B.E. IT, and MBA.

Key responsibilities

  • Research markets and actively pursue new business prospects.
  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships to encourage repeat work.
  • Handle the complete sales process, from generating leads to final deal closure.
  • Create proposals, presentations, and pricing approaches that support business wins.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to strengthen lead quality and improve conversions.
  • Monitor pipeline progress and share updates on revenue performance.
  • Negotiate agreements and secure high-value business deals.

Required capabilities

  • Hands-on experience in business development or sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong negotiation ability.
  • Clear understanding of client requirements and the ability to present suitable solutions.
  • Strong focus on outcomes, targets, and revenue delivery.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
  • Self-driven approach with initiative in lead generation.
  • Knowledge of bidding on portals such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, PPH, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Ability to convert leads and clients through bids.
  • Understanding of project management concepts.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Capability to plan and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed monthly goals.
  • Willingness to take on additional team responsibilities when needed.
