Opportunity Overview
Thryv is seeking a motivated and independent Business Advisor specializing in Thryv SaaS solutions to join our dynamic field sales team covering Australia and New Zealand. This position requires daily engagement in the market through door-to-door outreach, cold calls, networking, and in-person meetings with business owners to present the award-winning Thryv platform—an all-in-one solution designed to save time, improve communication, and help businesses get paid faster.
The role demands resilience and a proactive mindset to build a sales pipeline from scratch and convert prospects into loyal customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in consistent prospecting and cold calling to create new business leads.
- Perform door-to-door visits and network extensively to develop a robust sales pipeline.
- Meet face-to-face with business owners, delivering customized presentations of Thryv’s SaaS offerings.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through contract closure and onboarding handover.
- Meet or surpass monthly new business sales targets.
- Take full ownership of your sales territory, organizing your schedule purposefully.
- Keep detailed pipeline records and report progress to the Account Director.
- Stay updated on product developments, competitor activities, and market trends affecting SMBs.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated success as a proactive hunter in sales, excited by new business acquisition.
- Background in B2B sales preferably within SaaS, technology, or field sales sectors.
- Highly resilient and motivated with a capacity to rebound from setbacks quickly.
- Comfortable with cold calling and door knocking to secure meetings.
- Skilled in consultative selling by identifying client needs and aligning appropriate solutions.
- Self-driven and capable of autonomous work in the field.
- Organized and disciplined in managing territory, pipeline, and daily tasks.
- Technologically competent with experience demonstrating SaaS platforms to business owners.
